Spring Lamb is a contemporary realist painter and illustrator of people and the human condition. Born into a family of artists and married to a musician, she doesn’t remember a time when she wasn’t surrounded by the creative spark. As a teen, her fascination with graphic novels and comic books led to a fascination with illustrating people.
At West Virginia University, she expanded into sculpture with Alison Helm and mixed media composition and illustration with Sergio Soave. During her Junior year, she went to Glenville State College specifically to study photography, lapidary, and pottery making with Charles C. Scott. Since then, Spring has worked in advertising design and marketing, graphic design, and has built a studio career as an illustrator and commission painter with occasional shows in local galleries.
As co-founder of the Southaven Arts Council, Spring is focused on bringing art to the community of Southaven.
